ICELE is hosting a FREE event in conjunction with London Connects and the Royal Borough of Kingston upon Thames to explore the theme of local ePetitioning.
There will be panel debates, views and thoughts from elected members and council officers, key information on new policies and a review of ePetitioning technology.
At ICELE we believe that more Local Authorities should be enabling ePetitions, based on the success of established systems and recent DCLG consultation on the duty to respond to petitions.
At the most basic level, we believe that ePetitions are a good way to support traditional paper petitions. Kingston Upon Thames will give an account of their ePetition experiences and you will get the chance to share your views with our panel of experts.
